"Design has always been at the heart of who I am. After spending nearly 17 years in the retail and design industry, I’ve learned that great design isn't just about how things look — it’s about how they make you feel. So when the time came to design my own home, it was more than a project; it was a dream I’d carried for years.

My wife and I wanted our home to be an extension of us — simple, minimal, and filled with thoughtful details. We poured our design sensibilities into every space, and while we could bring our ideas to life through interiors, we struggled when it came to décor. We visited countless stores, searching for pieces that matched our aesthetic, but everything we loved was either too ornate or far too expensive.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just our problem — so many people must feel the same way. Luckily, with my background in retail design and manufacturing, I had the means to create what we couldn’t find — minimal, beautifully crafted décor that felt right at home. And that’s how the good nook was born.
